Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3+ years of ED experience and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) on a 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• May be required to float within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (all must be AHA-issued where applicable)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• 3+ years of ED experience with prior travel assignment experience, or 5+ years in a large ED without travel experience required
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to a variety of patient presentations in a fast-paced ED setting
• MOAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) training resources available for those interested
• Candidates should begin discussing potential contract extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rules, which vary by location
• Candidates may only be submitted to one Ascension position system-wide
