Private Equity Associate

Overview A dynamic and growing lower middle market private equity firm headquartered in Atlanta is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its investment team. The firm takes a generalist approach, investing across a diverse range of industries and focusing on control-oriented transactions in companies with strong growth potential. Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Responsibilities Support all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, deal execution, and portfolio management. Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities. Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investments and support decision-making. Participate in meetings with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle. Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials and presentations. Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives post-close. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar analytical role; prior private equity experience is a plus. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
