Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to safely transport, deliver, and assemble furniture. The ideal candidate is punctual, strong, mechanically inclined, and comfortable providing excellent in-home service.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, secure, transport, and unload furniture safely and efficiently
Deliver to residential addresses on a scheduled route
Assemble and install furniture in customers’ homes
Protect customer property using pads, straps, floor runners, and other equipment
Obtain customer signatures
Report vehicle issues, delivery exceptions, or damaged items promptly
Maintain professional appearance and provide friendly, courteous service
Keep delivery vehicle clean and perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required
Minimum [1–2] years of driving/delivery experience; furniture/appliance delivery a plus
Ability to lift 75–100+ lbs repeatedly, bend, kneel, and climb stairs
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable using GPS, smartphones, and routing apps
Background check and drug screen required
Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
Experience with in-home assembly and basic hand tools
