Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes, from inventory control to transportation planning. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation for this role is 18-22/hours based on experience, with a bonus structure based on company performance

Duties

• Inventory control duties and ensure accurate tracking of stock levels.
• Handling shipping and receiving activities.
• Execute picking and packing tasks with attention to detail to meet order specifications.
• Assist in transportation planning to optimize freight movement and reduce costs.
• Maintain warehouse management systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace and stocking areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift or forklift operation certification
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and principles.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including freight handling.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work independently, M-F (hours 8:00 am-5:00 pm), as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
