As a Student Food Services / Catering Worker, not only will you play an important part in helping us prep food and follow safety guidelines, but you'll master customer service and social skills! Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs. We are looking for student workers for the following locations/shifts. • Galley Subway weekdays between 11:30a-11p, weekends 11a-9p
• MCSC Pod Tu/We 10a-4p
• Mendenhall weekdays hours between 5a-3p
• Mendenhall weekdays hours between 7a-5p
• Mendenhall weekday hours between 7a-5p
• Panda Express weekdays & weekends 10:30a-7p
• Panda Express weekdays & weekends between 10:30a-7p
• Raising Canes weekdays 4-9:30, weekends 12-8p
• Raising Canes weekdays 4-9:30, weekends 12-8p
• Raising Canes weekdays 4-9:30, weekends 12-8p
• Reade St Subway weekdays 5p-1am, weekends 12p-12a
• Shakemart 10a-2 weekdays
• Starbucks weekdays between 7:30a-5p, weekends between 12a-5p
• Steak n' Shake weekdays 11a-7p, 11a-4p
• Steak n' Shake weekdays 11a-7p, 11a-4p
• Todd 4-9:30 weekdays, weekend shifts at 10a
• West End Nights/Weekends
• West End Days/Weekends
• West End Open Marketing MWF 9a-3p, T/TH 2p-9p

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Properly stores food in accordance with standards
• Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers' needs
• Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Must have or acquire food safety certification
• Demonstrates guest service skills

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
