We are representing an exceptional GC with a longstanding presence in the South Florida market, an excellent reputation with clients and subcontractors, and a strong pipeline of healthcare and commercial construction work .

This is not a business looking to hire because somebody has left. They are continuing to grow and want to bring in an accomplished Senior Project Manager who can become an important part of that growth.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of healthcare construction projects, working closely with the Superintendent, project team, ownership and key stakeholders.

You will be involved from the early stages of the project and have responsibility across preconstruction, procurement, financial management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, client management and final closeout .

This is a senior position, and they are looking for someone capable of truly owning their projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Managing project budgets, forecasts and overall financial performance
• Developing and maintaining project schedules
• Managing subcontractor procurement and buyout
• Overseeing contracts, RFIs, submittals and change orders
• Working closely with field leadership to drive schedule, quality and safety
• Managing relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors
• Leading Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers where required
• Identifying project risks early and driving solutions
• Maintaining the high standards expected across every project

What We’re Looking For

Healthcare construction experience is essential.

We are particularly interested in speaking with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers who have delivered projects within hospitals, medical facilities, healthcare campuses, surgical facilities, clinics or other complex healthcare environments .

Ideally, you will have:

• 8+ years of construction experience
• Strong Project Manager / Senior Project Manager experience with a General Contractor
• Proven healthcare construction experience
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Strong commercial and financial understanding
• Experience working within occupied or operational healthcare environments
• Excellent subcontractor and client management skills
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, procurement, contracts and change management
• A collaborative leadership style
• South Florida construction experience is highly desirable
