Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a Multifunctional Maintenance Technician to support the operational integrity of our facility through preventive and corrective maintenance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with experience in electrical systems and general maintenance trades, who can work independently and adapt to operational demands, including peak production periods.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance

Perform minor electrical repairs, plumbing, drywall installation/repair, painting, and landscaping

Execute preventive maintenance tasks and support infrastructure improvements

Equipment Operation

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts to support logistics and maintenance tasks

Safely move equipment and materials (up to 55 lbs occasionally)

Safety Compliance

Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards

Proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Support for Special Projects

Assist during high production periods and participate in facility improvement projects

Provide on-call or extended hour coverage for urgent maintenance issues

Qualifications:

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep

Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts (certification preferred; training provided)

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs occasionally

Able to work on ladders, rooftops, or outdoors in varying weather conditions

Behavioral Competencies

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Flexible availability, including willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, or extended hours

Proactive communication and ability to escalate complex issues appropriately

Work Environment & Conditions

Base schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Company-provided PPE includes safety harnesses, helmets, gloves, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field

Forklift and aerial lift certification (preferred)

Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
