Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a Multifunctional Maintenance Technician to support the operational integrity of our facility through preventive and corrective maintenance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with experience in electrical systems and general maintenance trades, who can work independently and adapt to operational demands, including peak production periods.

We are seeking a Multifunctional Maintenance Technician to support the operational integrity of our facility through preventive and corrective maintenance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with experience in electrical systems and general maintenance trades, who can work independently and adapt to operational demands, including peak production periods.
Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance
- Perform minor electrical repairs, plumbing, drywall installation/repair, painting, and landscaping
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks and support infrastructure improvements
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts to support logistics and maintenance tasks
- Safely move equipment and materials (up to 55 lbs occasionally)
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards
- Proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist during high production periods and participate in facility improvement projects
- Provide on-call or extended hour coverage for urgent maintenance issues
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts (certification preferred; training provided)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs occasionally
- Able to work on ladders, rooftops, or outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Flexible availability, including willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, or extended hours
- Proactive communication and ability to escalate complex issues appropriately
- Base schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Company-provided PPE includes safety harnesses, helmets, gloves, etc.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field
- Forklift and aerial lift certification (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
