Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day or Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the emergency room setting License: Active state RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. Shift hours are from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. The contract length is 13 weeks. Charting is done through EPIC. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed. Floating to other units may be required within the skill set. Required clinical skills include IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care. Experience with trauma, stroke, and critical care scenarios is essential. Nurses will work with adult and geriatric populations. This role involves managing various emergency conditions and triaging patients. Candidates must have strong communication and teamwork skills. Dedicated support staff, including respiratory and physical therapy, are available. Equipment used includes Bair hugger and rapid infuser.
