Software Engineer, iOS Core Product

Role Description

The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. With the growth of our iOS app, being the #18 productivity app in the App Store category and also our recent recognition as Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity, we find the need for a Senior iOS Engineer to help us support the new user base as well as work on new and exciting projects to push our mission forward.

• Opportunity to lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Work within a dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture

Qualifications

• Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
• Track record of working on various products from inception to decent traction
• Customer obsession with a focus on providing the best possible experience
• Product thinking with thoughtful decisions about product evolution
• Speed in generating ideas and knowing what can ship now
• Focus in a high-growth startup environment
• Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI

Requirements

• Swift Programming Language
• SwiftUI experience
• Experience in Multithreading Programming
• Working with CI/CD infrastructure
• Experience with Fastlane
• Understanding of SOLID principles
• Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies

• Salary range for this role is: 140,000-200,000 USD/Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience
