School-Based | Flexible Opportunities

Spindle is actively hiring  Instructional Aides to provide 1:1 student support . These roles are ideal for compassionate professionals who want to make a meaningful impact while working in a structured school setting.

This is a  per diem, as-needed position, with shifts available based on school coverage needs.

Position Responsibilities

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs, as applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements | School Compliance

To work in schools, you must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test, per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed

Clearances must be current or willing to obtain prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented mindset
