1717 K St NW #1100 Washington, DC 20006, USA Description TheAsiateam is seeking an Associateforan entry-levelposition supporting the firm’s large and dynamicAsiaRegion.As an Associate, you willsupport theAsiaPresident and other senior staff with scheduling, team operations, editing andfinalizingclientdeliverables, and other duties thatassistthe client service and internal functioning of this busy practice. Youwill also work with team members to understand client objectives, conduct research, and develop solutions in support of client engagements while building strong working relationships across teams. TheAssociatepositionwillexpose you to the details of the firm’s business and client work, allowing youtodevelopgeopolitical, regional, and sectoral/industryexpertise. Location Washington, DC(hybrid, with a minimum of3 daysper week in the office) Responsibilities Provides executive and administrative support totheAsiaPresident,and other senior staff as needed Works directly with and learns from subject-matter experts Manages day-to-day administrative priorities to ensure the Asia Team operates efficiently Gains initial exposure to client-facing activities under supervision and interfaces with clients in a support role as requested Conducts research, drafts client-specific content, and supports fast-paced projects, as needed Coordinates internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and materials, managing invitations, arranging logistics, and tracking next steps. Activelyparticipatesin client management andbusinessdevelopment efforts, includingworking with theBusinessDevelopment team toprepareand edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents for clientsand prospects Collaboratewith the Communicationsand Marketingteam to develop outreach messaging and engagement materials and support in planning and executing high-profile receptions,dinners,roundtables, and otherstrategicclient-facing events. Learns foundational problem-solving and analytical skills Begins to operate independently and take ownership of defined tasks while seeking guidance when needed Contributes to firm development initiatives Qualifications 0-2 years of relevant prior professional experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in political science, international relations,regional studies,public policy or business administration, or a related field, or equivalent and relevant work experience Strong knowledge of region (via prior living, academic, or professional experience preferred) and understanding of geopolitics in the region) Proficiencyin languageused inAsiaregion strongly preferred(i.e.Chinese, Japanese, or Korean) Highly proficient in PowerPoint and other MS Office tools Excellent presentation, writing, and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive approach to networking and stakeholder engagement Entrepreneurial mindset with creative, solution-oriented, problem-solving skills About Us DGA Group is a global advisory firm that helps clients protect – and grow – what they have built in today’s complex business environment.
