As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Badge Reconciliation in Playa Vista, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and team members while using technology to document activities and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain communication with site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
