Job Title: In Home Service Advisor

Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Year Round
Pay: $60K+ (hourly + commission)

Blackburn Foundation Repair has been serving South Dakota in waterproofing, radon mitigation, foundation repair, and concrete repair since 1992. This role exists because we promoted our last Service Technician to Warehouse Manager—and we’re looking for the next person ready to step up. This isn’t an entry-level “ride along” position. This is an opportunity to own your day, build relationships, and directly impact your income and your future.

What You'll Do:

• Service and troubleshoot installed waterproofing and foundation systems
• Identify issues and clearly explain solutions to homeowners
• Clean, rebuild, and maintain sump pump systems
• Propose additional protection when it genuinely benefits the customer
• Work independently in the field while staying connected to the team
• Hit service and sales performance goals and grow your income
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communicator who can build trust quickly
• Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
• Mechanically inclined—you enjoy figuring things out and fixing problems
• Customer-first mindset with a natural ability to educate, not pressure
• Sales confidence (or the drive to develop it)
• Experience in construction, waterproofing, or in-home sales is a plus—but not required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
