A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1964. We are seeking a Cook - Full-Time. $19 to $21 per hour based on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Flex Schedule = 5:00am to 1:30pm and 10:00am to 6:30pm - MUST be able to work weekends Cook Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Licensure/Certifications: Active Approved ANSI accredited/ Serv Safe certificate. Experience in food preparation and/or basic cooking in a Long-Term Care (Skilled Nursing Facility) required. Background check after Offer of Employment. Cook Job Summary: Prepare lunch and dinner meals for all diets including texture modifications. Prepare meals timely, using proper sanitation principles, be of proper temperature and appealing to look at. Complete all assignments including Prep work prior to end of shift. Use of proper dating and labeling at all times. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen food preparation areas.
