About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fixed Income Investor Relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of the fixed income investor relations strategy, with a focus on managing relationships with institutional investors and research analysts in the fixed income markets. This role is pivotal in communicating the company's financial performance, funding strategy, and risk profile to the investment community. The VP will work closely with senior management to ensure that the company's strategic direction is clearly and accurately understood, and will be involved in various activities such as organizing investor events, creating investor materials, and monitoring market trends to shape the firm's messaging. Applicants for the Vice President, Fixed Income Investor Relations position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in investor relations, ratings agency research, fixed income credit analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking with a focus on financials. A strong understanding of capital markets, banking, and the financial services industry is essential, as is exceptional financial acumen and the ability to distill complex information into clear, investor-friendly communication. The role requires a high level of numeracy, detailed knowledge of bank financial analysis, and fixed income valuation techniques. A CFA or equivalent qualification is highly preferable. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
