Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced CT Technologist for a 13-weeks contract opportunity with a hospital in New York, NY 10029.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, emergency, and specialized CT examinations using multidetector CT scanners while maintaining high-quality diagnostic imaging standards.
• Verify patient identity, review clinical history, assess contrast-related risks, and prepare patients for safe and efficient imaging procedures.
• Administer oral and IV contrast media according to established protocols and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Optimize scanning parameters and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure while ensuring diagnostic image quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and emergency department staff to support timely diagnosis and patient care.
• Document procedures accurately in EMR/RIS, transmit images to PACS, perform equipment quality checks, and maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum of 2-year CT Technologist experience.
• PET CT experience preferred.
• Maintains active Nuclear Medicine, CT licenses and BLS.
• High School Diploma or Higher.
