Job Title: Registered Nurse

Description:
Position involves providing direct patient care activities for all age groups.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Performs duties in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and service standards.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments.
Works to optimize patient care and comfort.
High risk exposure to blood and body fluids may be present.
Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Utilizes the nursing process for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
Expected to function within the scope of nursing preparation and established guidelines of nursing practice.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers consistently.
Maintains a flexible attitude and adjusts to varying work schedules and patient care requirements.
Demonstrates dedication to patient care and quality of service.
