This role is responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and testing electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in high-quality communication, switching, and fiber optic products. The ideal candidate will have experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT), hand soldering, and electronic assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform SMT and through-hole electronic assembly on PCB assemblies and electronic devices
• Hand place and solder fine-pitch SMT components and electronic parts
• Operate and assist with pick-and-place SMT equipment and related production machinery
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and work orders
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
• Conduct visual inspections and basic functional testing of assemblies
• Assist with rework, repairs, and troubleshooting of PCB assemblies as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in SMT assembly, PCB assembly, or electronics manufacturing required
• Experience with fine-pitch hand soldering and component placement
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards preferred
• Experience operating pick-and-place machines is a plus
• Ability to identify electronic components and read assembly documentation
• Basic computer skills preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Skills

• IPC certification preferred
• Experience working in a regulated or high-quality manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with fiber optic or communication products is a plus

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
