Join the Team as a Host at ShortE's BBQ in Johnston, IA!

We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Host to join our team and help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to every guest.
What You'll Do As the first face our guests see, you'll set the tone for their experience at ShortE's BBQ. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests with a warm, friendly smile and ensuring they feel welcome.
- Managing the seating chart and coordinating table availability.
- Answering questions about our menu and restaurant.
- Assisting with takeout orders and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Collaborating with the team to maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
No prior experience? No problem! We're happy to welcome individuals who are eager to learn and bring a positive attitude to the table. Here’s what we value:
