Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and an OH or compact RN license in hand.

Job Details

• Work in the Heart & Vascular Thoracic Institute (HVTI) Step-Down unit of a large academic hospital campus,
• Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population,
• Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM and 7:00 PM-7:30 AM,
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week,
• Shift times may vary based on operational needs of the hospital,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand,
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the Step-Down specialty prior to travel,
• Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience (travel experience is acceptable for this requirement),
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required,
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration,

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate test will be completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to proceed,
• Must work at least every other holiday,
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations,
• A minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system,
• Two professional references are required for consideration
