Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Anthem, Arizona Patient Service Center. The role involves collecting blood specimens, performing data entry, processing billing, and delivering customer service in a Monday-Friday schedule with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing information and collect patient payments as required
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
• Spanish language proficiency preferred
• Three or more months phlebotomy experience preferred
