Oil & Gas Account Manager

About the Role The Account Manager oversees and coordinates all sales and various solution programs for a significant client or specific client group. Preferred Location & Travel Preferred location: Houston, Texas. Relocation available. Travel: 40%. This position requires 5 days onsite daily. What Will You Do Follow organizational policies and procedures and maintain clear and direct line of communication within the organization to meet customer requirements. Consult with dealers and internal business partners on sales and service support of product to "corporate account" customers. Design processes for informing customers of rates, shipping dates, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer. Work directly with customers to collect information, sell additional products and services to current customers, and ensure customers' needs are met. What Will You Have Customer focus and ability to create customized customer solutions. Industry knowledge of the organization’s industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters. Decision-making and critical thinking skills, including knowledge of decision-making processes and tools. Effective communication skills, including understanding of communication concepts, tools, and techniques. Relationship management knowledge and ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Summary Pay Range $128,470.00 - $192,710.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
