Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a growing, well-established organization in the Denver area to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities Own and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes , ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to leadership Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting Partner cross-functionally with teams including operations, FP&A, and leadership Support budgeting and forecasting activities Maintain and enhance internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP Assist with external audits and coordinate requests with auditors Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements Mentor or support junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting or industry) Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes Experience managing month-end close and reconciliations Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.) preferred CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred but not required Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 – $105,000 annually , depending on experience, skill set, and overall qualifications.
