Mid-size manufacturing company with a major plant site located in Central / Western Morris County is seeking an Accounting Manager to add to staff.  This position will be responsible for Month End Close, Preparation of the financial statements, balance sheet and statement of cash flows, along with overseeing Accounting Operations and supervising a small accounting staff.  This is a very hands-on role and will work closely with the parent company overseas in reporting the financial results.  Looking for 5+ years of strong hands-on accounting experience working in mid size company.  Any experience with IFRS or MS Business Central / Dynamics is a plus.  Will also assist with working with the Auditors as well and year end accounting responsibilities.  The company offers a competitive compensation package in the $120-150K range depending on experience, plus bonus and including very good benefits. Very nice office location and environment in Northwestern NJ as well.  

• At least 5 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience, preferably within a mid-sized company environment.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.
• Experience preparing formal financial statements and supporting audit processes.
• Ability to supervise accounting staff while remaining actively involved in daily accounting work.
• Comfortable working with international or parent-company reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; experience with Business Central, Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
