Travel RN - Telemetry
American Traveler
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring 2 years of experience and MD or compact RN licensure.
Job Details • Fast-paced, high-volume Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with multiple, complex diagnoses,• Patient ratio of 1:5, up to 1:6 with lower acuity patients,
• Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30),
• Every other weekend required (4 weekends in a schedule),
• Floating required within specialty and like units of equal or lesser acuity, including to a sister facility as needed,
• No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required,
• Uses EPIC EMR system, Job Requirements • Active RN license (Maryland state or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI,
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience required, Additional Information • Royal Blue scrubs required,
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled,
• All RTO must be submitted at time of offer; RTO not accepted during fall/winter holiday weeks,
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
