Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) / Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Pensacola, FL

Job Summary:
Homeside Rehab is seeking compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to join our Assisted Living Facility team in Pensacola, FL.

In this role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, helping residents maintain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled physical or occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed PT or OT.

• Carry out established treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

• Assist residents in maintaining independence and working toward their established functional goals.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes, concerns, and treatment responses to the supervising therapist.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, effective, and resident-centered treatment.

• Communicate clearly with facility staff, residents, caregivers, and supervising therapists regarding progress and recommendations.

Job Qualifications:

• Active Florida State Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant License — required

• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation and clinical recordkeeping

• Strong clinical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with supervising therapists, facility staff, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Experience providing therapy services in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Outpatient, or Home Health settings preferred

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred

• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care and promoting functional independence

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem

• Location: Pensacola, FL

• Salary: $45 – $50 per hour

• Schedule Flexibility: Choose your own hours. Day and evening shifts are available Monday through Friday, with weekend availability as needed.
