Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring thorough assessments and evaluations are conducted.
• Deliver evidence-supported therapeutic interventions, addressing the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, facilitating a holistic approach to client treatment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed on the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. These may encompass anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in relevant clinical settings is essential.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Midwest Community Mental Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
