Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance that accommodates your lifestyle. As a member of our team, you will have the autonomy to create your work schedule while ensuring that clients' needs are met, which may occasionally include evening and weekend hours. As part of the detox center facility, you will engage with a specialized patient population requiring focused mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your clinical expertise to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans based on established diagnoses.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, and motivational interviewing, to meet clients' unique needs.
• Maintain a continuous feedback loop by critically evaluating patients' responses to therapy sessions and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Facilitate collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, engaging with physicians, psychologists, and health providers to optimize client outcomes.
• Oversee the administration of psychotropic medications, monitoring adherence and any potential side effects, emphasizing the importance of treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals navigating detoxification and substance use challenges, understanding the complexities and sensitivities involved in their recovery processes. Your role is critical in instilling hope, motivating clients, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to their evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• A current and valid license to practice as an independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy as an independently licensed social worker, which ensures you are well-equipped for the challenges of this position.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with substance use disorders and experience working in detox facilities or similar treatment settings.
• Proven history of utilizing evidence-based therapies and a commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in continuing education related to mental health and addiction.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
