Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Remote Telehealth Position

Foresight Behavioral Health Center is seeking compassionate and qualified Mental Health Counselors to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will provide therapeutic support through telehealth services to individuals facing various mental health challenges, contributing to their journey towards recovery and well-being.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, utilizing our telehealth infrastructure to connect with patients across the state. You'll engage with clients through video conferencing, making full use of innovative technology to deliver effective care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patients' needs during those hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy utilizing modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups, actively creating a sense of community among participants facing similar challenges.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in emergency situations, offering immediate support and resources.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.
• Actively engage in team consultations, case discussions, and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals grappling with a range of mental health disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping clients manage conditions such as severe anxiety, chronic depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. By providing tailored support and interventions, you will make a significant impact on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution, with relevant licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
• Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessments and construct effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Proficiency in delivering both individual and group therapy in virtual settings, with a focus on inclusivity and support for all clients.
• Exceptional communication skills, supplemented by sound judgment and adherence to professional boundaries.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to telehealth.
• A collaborative mindset, ideally suited for working within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in telehealth settings is strongly favored, enhancing your capability to effectively engage with clients virtually.
• Experience in supporting diverse populations and addressing a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
