Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Level 2 Trauma Center requiring IL RN licensure and at least 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed Emergency Department with 27 medical beds and 3 ED Psych beds
• Average daily census of 120 patients, ranging from 100-140
• Staffing based on ADC with various shift ranges using POD nursing model
• Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 2 Stroke Center
• Chest Pain accredited facility with a full treatment center for Sexual Assault Survivors
• 12-hour night shifts
• EPIC EMR used for charting
• Acute care setting

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across medical and psychiatric ED patients
• 4 hours of billable computer modules required prior to start, delivered the week before the assignment begins
• This is an immediate need and candidates must be able to start ASAP
