You'll take ownership of your own client portfolio, working with a range of owner-managed businesses across different sectors, while also supporting the wider team with reviews and workflow management.The role offers a broad mix of responsibilities across accounts and tax, with the opportunity to get involved in audit work where required. It's well suited to someone looking for a varied position with scope to make a real impact within a growing office.Key responsibilitiesManaging a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the yearPreparing statutory accounts for a range of business types and sizesProducing corporate tax computations and handling related queriesReviewing accounts and tax work completed by junior team membersCoordinating workloads and ensuring deadlines are met across the teamAdvising owner-managed businesses on financial and business mattersSupporting with technical queries across accounts, tax, and auditAssisting with audit assignments where requiredAbout youACA or ACCA qualifiedMinimum of 4 years' experience within an accountancy practiceStrong technical knowledge across accounts and taxExperience managing a client portfolioCommercially aware with a proactive approachStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlinesConfident using accounting software and Microsoft OfficeFull UK driving licence and access to a carThe packageCompetitive salary, dependent on experienceFlexible working arrangements23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to adjust leaveContributory pension schemeHealth cash planIncome protection and life assurance benefitsSupportive and collaborative team environment with opportunities for progressionLHH upholds the highest standards of confidentiality in every interaction.
