HHA - Home Health Aide Experienced Personal Care Support in Lorain (Premium Pay)

Position Home Health Aide (HHA) – ongoing in‑home support at BrightStar Care. Responsibilities Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Support safe mobility and transfers; assist with movement and positioning. Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to supervisors or case managers. Follow the established care plan and maintain clear communication with the care team. Offer companionship and emotional support to ensure client comfort, dignity, and well‑being. Shift: Any day between Monday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year of documented home‑care assistance or direct‑care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility (preferred). Preferred: Successful completion of a nursing assistant or certified home‑health aide program. Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x‑ray. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (proof of insurance required). Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Self‑directing with minimal supervision; ability to maintain confidentiality and security of client medical information (HIPAA compliant). English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking). Up‑to‑date vaccinations: COVID‑19, influenza, and hepatitis B.
