Head of Storage / Storage Architect - High Frequency Trading - $900k+ We're seeking a global head of storage / lead storage architect to take ownership of a high frequency trading funds storage infrastructure. This is a senior, high impact role where you'll define the long-term strategy for high performance, scalable storage solutions that power a 24/7 research and trading environment. You'll be responsible for building and executing a roadmap that ensures reliability, performance and scalability across the firm's multi-petabyte storage infrastructure. Responsibilities: Define and execute the vision for scalable, future-proof storage solutions. Lead conversations around strategy, architecture and design. Forecast future storage needs and develop long-term strategic roadmaps. Research and implement next-generation storage technologies for AI-driven workloads. Work with internal and external technology providers to develop best-in-class solutions. Experience: 10+ years of experience in HPC environments with multi-petabyte storage deployments. Deep expertise in distributed file systems (Lustre, GPFS, WEKA, S3, CEPH). Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. Understanding of server architecture, performance optimization and large-scale infrastructure.
