Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries, including technology, media & telecommunications, consumer & retail, financials & insurance, GP advisory, energy, oil & gas, power, utilities & renewables, industrials, aerospace & defense, healthcare and real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure.Our Private Capital Markets team is part of the Capital Markets Advisory team within the Strategic Advisory Group. Our Private Capital Markets team originates, advises upon, structures, negotiates and executes private capital and public equity and equity-linked transactions across sectors globally. The team is looking for a senior analyst or associate to join the team to focus on private capital raises, including the following types of transactions:Growth equity raises (e.g., Series B and onward)Pre-IPO or IPO-linked capital raisesAcquisition related equity financingsMinority / structured equity raisesJoint ventures with third party capital / capital formationEquity recapitalizations / refinancingsOther bespoke or creative private financing solutionsAnalysts and Associates participate in the origination and execution of all deal activity. Work will include:Active involvement in client-facing situationsAssistance in the execution of transactionsAssistance in deal structuring and term sheet negotiationsOngoing investor relationship development and managementConstructing and managing internal deal and investor-related databasesDrafting of client presentations and pitchesPreparation of market updatesConducting financial and other business-related researchCoordinating and helping manage complex and often time-sensitive processesParticipation in talent development efforts, including recruitingQualificationsPJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:1 – 5 years of investment banking experience as a member of a leading equity capital markets or private capital markets group with experience with structured equity and/or private capital transactions highly preferredAnalytical and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and proactiveAptitude to work collaboratively in a team environmentRobust organizational and time management skillsStrong work ethic and ability to work well under pressureResume must be in PDF formatExpected annualized base salary of $120,000 to $250,000.This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure.
