Trade Finance Test Analyst \/ QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Test Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Trade Finance and hands-on experience in Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX), Oracle Banking Trade Finance Process Management (OBTFPM), OBTF and Oracle FLEXCUBE . The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end trade finance processes, executing functional and integration testing, preparing test artifacts, and ensuring seamless integration between trade finance systems and core banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Testing

• Perform Functional UAT, Regression, and End-to-End testing for Trade Finance applications.
• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications Document (FSD), and Solution Design Documents.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Validate trade finance workflows across OBDX, OBTFPM, OBTF and FLEXCUBE.

Trade Finance Operations Testing

• Test end-to-end trade finance products including:
  • Import Letter of Credit (LC)
  • Export Letter of Credit (LC)
  • Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC)
  • Bank Guarantees
  • Documentary Collections
  • Shipping Guarantees
  • Bills and Collections
  • Trade Loans and Financing
  • Amendments, Advising, Confirmation, Negotiation, and Settlement processes

Application Testing

Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX)

• Validate customer-facing trade finance modules.
• Test maker-checker workflows and transaction initiation.
• Verify customer onboarding and trade service requests through digital channels.

Oracle Banking Trade Finance Process Management (OBTFPM/OBTF)

• Validate transaction lifecycle management.
• Test workflow routing, approvals, and exception handling.
• Verify integration with SWIFT messaging and external systems.

Oracle FLEXCUBE

• Validate accounting entries and trade transaction processing.
• Test branch operations and trade settlements.
• Verify interfaces between FLEXCUBE and OBTFPM.

Defect Management

• Log, track, and retest defects using Defect Management tools.
• Coordinate with business users, developers, and solution architects to resolve issues.
• Support UAT and production verification activities.

Reporting

• Prepare test execution reports and defect metrics.
• Participate in daily status calls and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide testing sign-off recommendations based on test results.

Experience Required

• 5+ years of Software Testing experience.
• 3+ years of Trade Finance Testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Banking products:
  • OBDX
  • OBTFPM
  • OBTF
  • FLEXCUBE
• Experience in banking transformation and digital banking projects preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Banking, Finance, or related field.
• ISTQB Certification preferred.
• Trade Finance certification (CDCS preferred) will be an added advantage.
