As a Security Officer Access Gate Associate in Florence, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, docks, gates, and other controlled spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, drivers, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, vehicle movements, deliveries, and other security-related observations in accordance with site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including warehouse areas, trailer lots, loading zones, and parking areas, while observing for unusual activity and/or policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
