Job Description

Fairmont Pittsburgh's Health Club and Spa are looking for an enthusiastic and eager member to make their mark in the Health Club. As a Health Club and Spa Attendant you will be responsible for greeting all guests and members while ensuring a safe and clean environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Be the first and last representation of the health club for guests and members.
General reception duties including, meeting and greeting guests and hotel members
Operating point of sales system to ensure proper billing of services to guests and members for services rendered.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facility.
Ensure that the Health Club is safe and hazard free.
Maintain inventory and appearance of retail center.
Maintain general upkeep and cleanliness of entire health club facility, including but not limited to locker rooms and retail, reception, and lounge areas.
Handling cash and/or credit transactions while ensuring checks and balances through all venues.
Communicating with guests and members using correct verbiage and standard Fairmont telephone protocols.
Responsible for projects as assigned by manager
Qualifications

Your Experience and Skills:
Previous experience is an asset
Currently certified in First Aid and CPR is an asset
Excel, WordPerfect 5.1 are an asset.
Physical Education or Hospitality background is preferred
Available to work weekends and shift work.
Constant standing and walking throughout shifts. May occasionally exert up to 10 pounds lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
