What You'll Do

You'll be the expert customers rely on, guiding them from first inquiry through a completed order, including:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates from drawings, sketches, and blueprints, analyzing project requirements and specifications to determine material needs
• Fielding inbound inquiries and referrals from homeowners and contractors, and answering questions about products, pricing, availability, uses, and terms
• Recommending the right products and accessories based on each customer's project and goals
• Reaching out to current and prospective customers to explain product features and follow orders through to completion
• Quoting pricing, products, payment terms, warranties, and delivery dates
• Consulting with customers after the sale to resolve issues and provide ongoing support
• Reviewing drawings, estimates, and bids to make sure the customer's needs are fully met
• Providing product samples and catalogs
• Keeping sales and customer information accurate and up to date in the CRM and process documents

Once you're trained, you'll have real ownership of the customer experience. TruLog wants someone they can trust to know the products inside and out, guide customers confidently, and see requests through to the finish.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of inside sales experience selling business-to-consumer products
• Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting blueprints, material lists, and home construction documents
• Industry knowledge of home construction or exterior siding, including estimating the materials a project requires
• Strong math skills: basic geometry, fractions, and measurements, with the ability to calculate square footage and total materials
• A consultative approach: you listen closely, reason through the best solution, and communicate clearly
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfort with technology: ERP systems, HubSpot (CRM), Gmail, and Microsoft Office, plus calculators and architect scales for estimating
• A college degree, or equivalent education and experience

Experience selling building products or siding, working with homeowners as a customer base, and familiarity with estimating from architectural drawings, is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

• $60,000–$64,000 annual salary, depending on experience
• Health, dental, and vision benefits, with TruLog covering 75% of the premium (begins 30 days after the first of the month of employment)

This is an on-site position in Colorado.
