This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively. Supervisor I, Warehouse & Distribution Management Responsible for leading team members to ensure efficient operations in warehouse and distribution centers, making daily decisions, managing tasks, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX. Responsibilities Oversee team members to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes. Make day‑to‑day decisions affecting team members and manage task assignments. Optimize storage space, material flows, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments for timely distribution. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Train and mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and drive talent development. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Lead performance management and enhance employee engagement. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to overall compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 years; Associate +6 years; M.S. +0 years) Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English. 2 years of relevant experience. 1 year of demonstrated leadership.
