Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of rigging equipment, lifting gear, and related industrial products. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, leading warehouse personnel, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting operational excellence to meet customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing products are inspected for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Develop and maintain warehouse procedures to improve efficiency, organization, and workflow.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, shipping performance, and labor productivity.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, particularly regarding material handling and lifting equipment.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for rigging products, wire rope, chain, synthetic slings, shackles, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse machinery.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Manage warehouse supplies and operating expenses within budget.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse.
• Support audits and maintain documentation for inventory and warehouse operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience.
• Experience in the rigging, lifting equipment, industrial distribution, oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• OSHA warehouse and material handling regulations
• Lean warehousing and continuous improvement principles

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
