Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in orthopedics and a desire for ongoing learning and professional development.
- Evaluate patients to create and implement treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Record findings, track progress, and provide instructions to patients and their caregivers.
- Oversee patient care conducted by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
- Draft a written plan of care, set goals based on evaluation outcomes, and design a comprehensive program to achieve those goals.
- Execute physical therapy treatment programs and administer essential therapy services.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance representatives.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Physical Therapy License in the state of West Virginia or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) certification, along with CPR certification.
- Outgoing and energetic demeanor.
