The role helps coordinate portfolio activities, organize content and information, and ensure learning offerings are accurately represented and maintained within agreed portfolio standards. With knowledge of the portfolio area and a strong execution focus, the Portfolio Partner helps translate portfolio direction into coordinated actions, supports portfolio upkeep and governance processes, and contributes to the overall organization, discoverability, and continuous improvement of the portfolio. This role serves as an important operational partner to the Portfolio Lead, helping ensure the portfolio remains current, usable, and aligned to learner and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support portfolio strategy for an individual portfolio, identifying gaps, overlaps, and retirement opportunities and providing performance insights and recommendations. Bring deep SME leadership; interpret business developments and turn them into portfolio implications; facilitate learning interventions in respective SME topic. Maintain rigorous oversight of portfolio content integrity and quality standards, ensuring all learning offerings meet the compliance, accuracy, and documentation requirements of a highly regulated life sciences environment. Maintain portfolio metadata and tagging integrity to support accurate mapping, searchability, reporting, and day-to-day data quality. Escalate portfolio-level risks, quality concerns, or issues that require resolution, cross-portfolio coordination, or leadership attention beyond established portfolio processes Represent the portfolio in working sessions, governance discussions, and cross-functional planning forums as needed to support alignment, decisions, and follow-through on actions Support time-sensitive business and leadership requests, including urgent updates, launch support, rapid response efforts, and post-implementation reviews within the portfolio Contribute to continuous improvement of portfolio management practices by providing input on standards, templates, governance processes, taxonomy application, and ways of working Support team effectiveness through knowledge sharing, onboarding, and peer collaboration, helping promote consistency and operational continuity across portfolios Core Competencies / Personal Attributes Portfolio Management & Execution: Effectively manages portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, gaps, overlaps, and lifecycle actions Prioritization & Judgment: Evaluates demand, value, and constraints to make informed recommendations on enhancements, sequencing, and retirements Stakeholder Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships across business stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional partners Communication & Influence: Clearly communicates portfolio priorities, changes, and recommendations to drive alignment and action Collaboration & Coordination: Works effectively across portfolios and partner teams to address dependencies and reduce friction Strategy Translation: Converts category direction into actionable portfolio plans, curriculum updates, and governance activities Business & Domain Expertise: Applies strong subject-matter knowledge to evolving business needs and learning priorities Curriculum & Pathway Management: Maintains sound judgment on curriculum structure, progression, and learning pathways Governance & Metadata Management: Ensures adherence to governance, taxonomy, and quality standards for optimal reporting and usability Planning & Coordination: Manages day-to-day portfolio activities, timelines, inputs, and partner coordination Professional Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field (BA/BS or equivalent) **Preferred Advanced Degree** Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience with a demonstrated track record in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or a related field. ** Preferred experienced within Clinical Oncology** Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
