About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Substitute Teacher to assist in the planning and implementation of learning experiences that foster the social-emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of children. This role requires a candidate with a satisfactory criminal background check and a strong foundation in teaching methodologies.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with teachers to develop and execute lesson plans that promote students' understanding of early math, literacy, and science concepts.
• Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and staff.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Must have a satisfactory criminal background check

Substitute Teacher must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with young children and knowledge of child development principles are assets to this role.
