Physician Practice Operations Manager

Location Location: Zionsville, IN Facility: Ascension Medical Group, clinic Department/Specialty: Physician Support Services Schedule: Full-time | Days | 8am-5pm (responsible for Urgent Cares open 7 days per week) This position will cover Zionsville, Fishers, and Anderson. What You Will Do Directed daily practice operations, serving as a liaison between physicians, staff, and clinical and administrative departments to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. Collaborated with physician leadership to develop and implement growth strategies, business plans, and operational initiatives that supported organizational and financial objectives. Managed staffing, recruitment, scheduling, payroll, performance management, and employee relations to maintain adequate coverage, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Oversaw budgeting, billing and collections, regulatory compliance, contracts, vendor relationships, and physician compensation support to optimize financial performance and compliance. Coordinated patient care services and monitored patient flow, quality outcomes, and service delivery to enhance patient satisfaction and improve practice efficiency. What You Will Need Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. Additional Preferences Prior Healthcare leadership experience required. Clinical experience preferred. Responsible for urgent cares open 7 days per week.
