Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
• Coordinate with the surgical team and ensure the operation rooms are adequately prepared before procedures.
• Participate in the call schedule, including one required weekend per month with first and second call duties on weekdays.
• Maintain meticulous documentation for all surgical procedures using Meditech.
• Facilitate effective communication with surgical team members and patients' families regarding care plans and patient status.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment, such as hana bed and Davinci systems, are sterilized and available.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team.
• Experience with orthopedic, general, urology, gyn, ENT surgeries, and DaVinci robotic procedures preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in using electronic documentation systems such as Meditech.
