Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry with a minimum of 18 months of recent experience. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Manage patient assessments, plans of care, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and vital signs.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
