School Psychologist – District Position held by Springfield City School District in Dayton, Ohio for the 2026-2027 academic year. Overview Springfield City School District, a nationally ranked Division I district, serves approximately 7,500 students and operates 17 state‑of‑the‑art buildings. Responsibilities Fulfill duties as a licensed School Psychologist, including assessment, consultation, and counseling of students. Provide support within a Multi‑Tiered System of Support for all students. Protect workplace safety by following district procedures and managing exposure risks such as vehicle operation, travel, extended duty days, adverse weather, blood‑borne pathogens, and interaction with disruptive individuals. Qualifications Master’s Degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid Ohio School Psychologist license. Experience or training in assessment, consultation, and counseling of preschool or school‑age children. Experience with a Multi‑Tiered System of Support. Valid Ohio administrative license or appropriate certificate for the assignment. Benefits & Compensation Contracted employee with 183 days of work per year, possible 20 extended days, and 7.25 hours per day. Salary determined by negotiated agreement, increases with experience and education. Salary prorated based on start date and remaining contracted days. Contracted employees receive competitive benefits and professional development. A $10,000.00 retention compensation is offered to all School Psychologists.
