Step into a dynamic educational setting as a Full-Time General Education Substitute/Floater Teacher, supporting students and classrooms across grades K-8 for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to engage with a wide age range of learners while collaborating with a dedicated staff. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with consistent hours of 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S) in teaching or a related discipline
• Background or certification enabling you to work as a General Education Teacher
• Experience working in K-8 settings is highly valued
• Adaptability to transition between classrooms and grade levels as needed
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration capabilities
• Positive attitude and a passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive school environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a substitute and floater, providing classroom coverage in various grade levels (K-8) based on daily needs
• Deliver lesson plans and support instructional goals set by the primary teacher or school administration
• Foster a positive, engaging, and safe learning atmosphere for all students
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of instruction and maintain classroom routines
• Monitor student behavior and support school policies consistently
