Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual training within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with cardiovascular monitoring and advanced critical care interventions
