As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and maintaining accurate access records. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Sat 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM Sun 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, manage visitor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-control records. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail store, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Communicate professionally with store personnel, delivery drivers, and visitors while reporting security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
